TEEN GIRLS & SELF-ESTEEM GROUP PROGRAM

GOAL
To provide a peer-supported process to normalize challenges faced by teen clients, complement individual and group counseling sessions and provide an opportunity to build positive self-esteem and confidence for female clients aged 11 to 18 in a therapeutic environment.
SCHEDULE
• 3:00 to 4:00pm
• All sessions are on Tuesday
• Sessions meet in either the Group room or Sinatra Auditorium
• Program meets weekly mid-January through April
• High Tea Self-Esteem “Graduation” is held the last Tuesday of the session
PROGRAM
• Weekly group counseling followed by eight weekly self-esteem sessions, culminating in a final presentation, attended by family members, staff, Barbara Sinatra and Board Members.
• Two clinicians, a team of professionals and volunteers conduct the program.
SESSION DATES
• Group Counseling: Mid-January through mid-March
• Self-Esteem: Mid-March through the Final Presentation in late April
