Dear Friends,

Thank you for visiting the nonprofit Barbara Sinatra Children’s Center website. Our mission is to provide counseling for victims of physical, sexual and emotional child abuse, and to focus on prevention, community education and breaking the cycle of abuse. When my husband, Frank Sinatra, and I founded the Children’s Center in October 1986, we pledged no child would ever be turned away due to a family’s inability to pay. Supporters throughout the world help keep that promise.  During the past month, 191 children participated in counseling at our Center, located in Rancho Mirage, California. Therapy services are facilitated by expert licensed counselors who inspire, instill hope and heightened self-esteem, and teach victims how to move beyond abuse to live healthy lives. Through therapy and hard work, victims come to learn they are important, have personal rights and are entitled to say, “No.” For everyone associated with the Sinatra Children’s Center, the children come first. Thank you for being a friend.

Sincerely,

Barbara Sinatra
